Intruder Defence Security has added a 24-hour off-site monitoring service to the many security solutions offered by the company.

The guarding and off-site monitoring divisions of GuardX Protection Services were integrated into Intruder Defence (Pty) Ltd on Tuesday 1 June 2021. All systems are fully functional at our head office in Edenvale, Gauteng.

tom (True Off-Site Monitoring) is a wireless intruder alarm system with integrated video verification. Upon activation, a 10-second video clip is sent to Intruder Defence’s 24-hour off-site monitoring centre resulting in an immediate and appropriate response activation.

tom is a completely wire-free product with a battery life for all devices of up to four years and cameras with day/night visibility. It is an advanced early warning system that can be utilised as a stand-alone security product or integrated with various other solutions such as Intruder’s guarding, K9 services and warehouse security.

Intruder Defence (Pty) Ltd currently operates in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal but will provide security services in all other Provinces and beyond our borders as required.
